Welke systemen wil jij breken?

We bewegen dagelijks door zichtbare en onzichtbare systemen. Soms soepel, soms ongemakkelijk. Soms wil je eruit. Of ertegenin.

In Break-it! – een theatrale installatie van Het Nationale Theater – onderzoek je je eigen positie binnen deze systemen. Wat gebeurt er als je de boel wil verstoren, vertragen, kapot gooien of opnieuw opbouwen?

Deze interventie is onderdeel van het vierjarige onderzoekstraject The System, waarin Het Nationale Theater onderzoekt hoe maatschappelijke systemen functioneren en hoe theater ingezet kan worden als maatschappelijk laboratorium.

Dit is de pilotversie – jouw deelname is dus óók onderzoek.

Which systems would you like to break?

We all move through visible and invisible systems — sometimes with ease, sometimes with resistance. And sometimes we want to break out. Or push back.

Break-it! is a theatrical installation by The National Theatre that invites you to explore your position within these systems. What happens when you try to disrupt, distort, or rebuild them?

This intervention is part of a four-year research project called The System, in which The National Theatre explores how societal systems function and how theatre can be used as a social laboratory.
