Design
At WDTW, design is not a style, a trend, or a set of tools. It is a way of engaging with the world.
Design is concrete and abstract at the same time. It deals with tangible outcomes, artefacts, systems, interactions, while always addressing underlying questions: why this, for whom, and in what context? Design operates both in the small -the actual things we make- and in the large -the contexts we influence.
What you will find at WDTW is a broad spectrum of design practices: from visual, digital to technological. Student work, research and mere experiments. Workshops, talks, installations, and conversations that show design as a discipline that requires skill, judgment, and responsibility.
