Exploring the Minor ‘Design Asia’ – From Concept to Impact (ENG)

Kom luisteren naar het verhaal achter de oprichting van Design Asia, een unieke internationale minor in Bangkok, Thailand. Gerjan Kelder vertelt over dit 15 ECTS-programma, dat designstudenten uitnodigt om zich onder te dompelen in de Aziatische cultuur en tegelijkertijd echte uitdagingen aan te gaan. Door middel van praktische projecten – van het ondersteunen van lokale gemeenschappen tot het aanpassen van campagnes voor de Aziatische markt – ontdekken studenten hoe design een betekenisvolle, duurzame impact kan hebben. 
 
Je krijgt inzicht in interculturele creativiteit, designexperimenten en hoe deze minor aansluit bij wereldwijde doelen zoals armoedebestrijding en cultuurbehoud.

Join Gerjan Kelder as he presents the story behind the creation of Design Asia, a unique international minor based in Bangkok, Thailand. This 15 ECTS program invites design students to immerse themselves in Asian culture while tackling real-world challenges.
