Redesign your voice (NL & Eng)

Wanneer luisterde je echt naar je eigen stem? 

Een uitnodiging om te luisteren en in de onbekende mogelijkheden van je eigen stem te stappen. Misschien vind je jezelf een absolute sopraan of bas maar heb je jouw diepere of hogere klanken nog nooit uitgeprobeerd. Je stem is een levend instrument dat reageert op wat je beleeft en met wie je te maken hebt. Onderzoek d.m.v. adem, beweging, verbeelding, spel en jammen. We maken een jazzy ‘voicestra’ en een spannend verhaal of soundscape met onze herontdekte stemmen. We werken op blote voeten of sokken, en het is fijn als je comfortabele kleding meeneemt/ aanhebt.

When did you really listen to your own voice? 

An invitation to listen and step into the unknown possibilities of your own voice. Maybe you are convinced to be a true soprano or bass but you just never tried the deeper or higher regions of your sound. Your voice is a living instrument that interacts with what you experience and in contact with other people and their voices. Explore through breathing, moving, imagination, playing and making music. We create a jazzy ‘voicestra’ and an exciting story or soundscape by using our newly tuned voices. We work on bare feet or socks, and it is nice if you bring/wear comfortable clothing.
